About the author
Sharon grew up on East Anglian coast of England in a small town with a great beach. She now lives in the Midlands, as far from the sea as it is possible to be, and she misses the sound of the waves and the call of the gulls. However, living on the edge of a large city has its benefits, including good local theatre and multiplex cinemas!
She has been married to a wonderful man for more than 25 years. They have two sons who are now both at university. Still living at home are two budgies, including Frodo the world’s grumpiest budgie, and Jango, who also goes by the name Fattus-Cattus.
Writing has been part of Sharon’s life for as long as she can remember. At the age of five she decided that she would write a novel when she grew up, but also wanted to be the manager of the local bank so she could give her friends money whenever they came in to see her. Fortunately the closest she came to the banking world as an adult was writing marketing copy for various financial organisations.
She currently works for a well-known educational institute and is studying for a Masters degree. When she isn’t writing or working, she supports the charity Mercy in Action.
Her favourite colour is green. Her favourite food is chocolate. And her favourite actor is… actually there are too many to mention!
